✨ About Angelia Hayes
Hey y’all — I’m Angelia Hayes, the achy-hearted artist behind this cozy corner of the internet. I’m a Southern storyteller, digital designer, and porch philosopher rooted in rural Tennessee. My journey’s been full of twists, trials, and tender mercies — and through it all, I’ve found healing in creativity, connection, and a good cup of coffee.
I started drawing before I could spell my name, and over the years, my art has taken many forms — from hand-drawn coloring books and genealogy journals to digital patterns and wall art with a Southern wink. Health challenges nudged me from traditional mediums to digital ones, but they didn’t dim my spark. If anything, they lit a fire.
I’m a wife of 43 years to my high school sweetheart, Kerry — my rock, my mechanic, and the man who can fix just about anything (except maybe that smelly LTD). I’m also a proud mama, a porch-sitting dog mama to Missy, and a cat wrangler thanks to Noisy, who once launched me into a story-worthy tumble off the porch. (Yes, there’s a whole tale about that.)
This space is more than a portfolio — it’s a front porch for kindred spirits. A place to share art, stories, and the kind of Southern wisdom that comes from living through the hard stuff and still choosing joy. I believe in second chances, strong coffee, and the power of telling your story — even the messy parts.
So pull up a chair, take a deep breath, and stay awhile. I’m so glad you’re here.
